A short Thanksgiving post

I have a ton of pictures of Thanksgiving.

And I had very good intentions of putting together a nice long, photo-filled post of all of the fun we had with our favorite friends!

But instead my family was struck down by the stomach bug plague the day after these folks left.

So it didn't happen.

At least we had fun while they were here!

Rub-A-Dub-Dub, Three Cuties in the Tub

We don't usually all bath together.

For one thing, the bathtub is really small and all my kiddos like to "swim."

But hey, I was in a hurry and after the sand fight they engaged in in the backyard, all three children desperately needed cleansing!

But thank goodness I got such cute photographic evidence, because it will never happen again!

Between the splashing water all over my floor and Emma Jane not being able to keep her innocently incestous hands off of John's boy business, I think it is worth the extra 30 minutes to do separate baths!

My very brave, big five-year-old got her first pair of real earrings! She has already started picking out some of my earrings to wear once she is aloud to take hers out. I have a feeling that she is going to grow to have an obsession with big earrings just like her Mommy!

Fall Festival Fun

Sunday evening was our church's annual Fall Festival.

Last year, John was only 6 months old, so he spent the entire festival riding around in his stroller and watching his sisters have all of the fun.

This year, John owned the Fall Festival!

He had a blast playing all of the games, like Fishing for Apples,

and eating tons of junk food, like the cupcake he devoured in just three bites!

But his favorite part by far, was digging for candy!

And his favorite candy was the DumDums! He came home with a bag full of them. Mommy kept trying to direct him towards the Snickers bars, but he could not be swayed.

He had so much fun, he was really pissed when it ended didn't want the night to be over!

Oh yeah,

Libby and Emma Jane were there too.
